A wonderful fall day with brightly colored leaves and warm air made a beautiful setting for a river cruise.  Some of the residents at Grace Lodge took a bus ride to Wisconsin River Cruise just a little down the Wisconsin river and had a tour of the fall colors aboard the Wilderness Queen. The view was great and the cruise was relaxing.

Here are a few pictures!

Well, the garden is pretty much done for this year. The first day of frost is almost upon us. The garden produced lots of green beans, a couple of tomatoes and some small basil plants. The cucumbers did not grow well, the peppers also did not produce anything. The corn was a failure, but they were in shade much of the year. All told it was fun to watch and see what was out there!

Here are the last pictures for the year.

We recently had a family here at Grace Lodge to read books to some of our residents. All parties involved had a great time.

Maybe you or someone you know would like to do an activity with our residents. Maybe you want to volunteer to play a game or just sit and visit. Our residents would love it if you would.

Here are some pictures of our reading activity!
