We at Grace Lodge want to thank our residents and their family members for making this year another good year and for allowing us to show GRACE to you!

Christmas is a time filled with so many activities it is hard to keep up sometimes. Grace Lodge activity department is always looking for fun seasonal things to do.

This year, thanks to our wonderful volunteers and staff, we were able to make Christmas cards!

Halloween has come again! It seems to do that every year for some reason :)

We here at Grace Lodge like to decorate and carve pumpkins like many others do.

Here are a few pictures for your viewing pleasure. We hope you enjoy them as much as we had taking them.

Thursday is Social Hour day at Grace Lodge. The residents love getting together for special beverages and entertainment! This Thursday we had Voices of Praise come and sing some songs for us.

Here are some pictures:

Do you like flowers? We here at Grace Lodge love flowers. We get flowers around once a week to put new arrangements on the dining room tables. The ladies like to help out cutting and arranging them and here are some photos to prove it!

Grace Lodge is a place where you can have a little fun! We had a mix n’ match day in February and some people had a good time with it.

Just to prove it we have a picture!

Grace Lodge enjoyed some intergenerational interactivity the other day when some children from the Nativity school here in Rhinelander came to visit. Bingo was played for those who desired to. Others bowled on the Nintendo Wii. Our residents enjoyed their interaction with the children and enjoyed the games too!

Grace Lodge enjoys having tea parties. Usually once a month we have one whenever we can come up with an excuse to do so.

February’s excuse was Valentines day. Mary cooked up some delicious desserts and brewed up some tea and had a grand old time in the dining room! Thanks also to our volunteers who played some music and helped her serve it as well!

Every year Eagle River, WI builds a castle made out of ice blocks cut out of the lake. This year was no exception. Grace Lodge just HAD to visit of course! The volunteers even build a bench to sit on for picture taking. Go out to see it, you’ll marvel at the site!

Here is a resident their family member at the Ice Castle.

New years eve was an enjoyable time at Grace Lodge this year. Our very own Mary led the singing of the old familiar tunes. Drinks were had, toasts were made and the residents had a grand time ringing in the new year many with their family members beside them!
